AMD 1 "Passport" to Germany

I spent my hour watching videos of/reading about the German Jazz/Fusion band known as Passport. Led by Klaus Doldinger, the band has been widely successful on the jazz scene since they were founded in 1971. Music critics and fanatics of this genre of music often compare Passport to the popular American Jazz-outfit from the same era known as Weather Report. As someone who deeply appreciates  jazz music (an undeniably American art-form), Passport is a perfect example of how closely related both American and German cultures are. For future AMD posts I hope to find some music publications in German about mufti-national artists I am interested in and read some of the articles.
