The Kultur readings in this Kapitel are mostly about transit as well as Goethe Institut and Frankfurt am Main. My personal takeaway from the readings is that bicycle riding is very popular in Germany and cyclists are very well-respected, they are given the right-of-way. Interestingly, kinds under 10 should take a bicycle riding test in order to ride along. In contrast, driving a car is not as common among Germans, both because it cost more and the driver's license test is not easy.

Other interesting thing are:

• Bike path is so exclusive that you will be frown upon if you just wander on them as a pedestrian.
• Be obedient to the crosswalk red light, or you will probably receive a moral speech by a five-year-old.
• Sometimes the logical answer is not as what you think in Germany.
• Do not think that you can get away with free-riding in Germany Public Transit.

Those are all fun facts about transit culture in Germany. They well reflect Germans' attitude towards transportation.
