Kultur 2 Assignment

It was sehr interessant to ready the array of articles about Deutschland and its people. I believe every country has its quarks and if you don't understand them in advance they can often be perceived wrong or offensive, when really thats just the Kultur. The information about how Germans complain, how honest they are, how they really enjoy hearing about statistics, and about how some will stare at you could take you a long way when you are immersed in the Kultur. Knowing the context for how people act and what the like and do not like to hear is almost as important as know the language it self. Being culturally sensitive is something that Americans are not generally the greatest at, so even though these articles were funny they were also very good to read to get a little better grasp on the German Kultur.
